THREE songs place in 14th Billboard World Song Contest 2006!
For the second year in a row songs from HYPNOTIZED placed in the Honorable Mention Catagory of the Billboard World Song Contest. Specifically, Flyin' placed in the top 500(!) and Sunlight and Long Way Down placed in the top 1500. They told us that we should be excited 'cause there were an astronomical number of submissions. We complied.

Now every newspaper and network (3, 6, 10 and NATIONAL FOX news has come out and done stories on this Porcine Mecca and me in there playing my song "Sunlight". Unbelievable really. Stephen was interviewed by the BBC's Documentary channel Horizons for inclusion in a documentary featuring author and musician Fran Von Kloss. the documentary is scheduled to air in early 2007.

DiJoseph teams up with Ariel Publicity and Fast Foward Artist Promotions for new release.
Stephen releases his new 14-song CD HYPNOTIZED in September on his own esde records label. Completling his previous EP from 05, HYPNOTIZED holds 12 DiJoseph originals and one Moody Blues cover, 'Nights in White Satin' with cut 14 being a 'bonus' track. Ariel Publicity will head up internet and press promotions while Fred Migliore's Fast Foward Artist Promotions handles NPR and non-comm radio.

DiJoseph Wins Praise at Annual Billboard World Song Contest
DiJoseph makes TOP 500 out of 10,000 entries in the 13th Annual Billboard World Song Contest, scoring an Honorable Mention for his song from the fourthcoming HYPNOTIZED. And the competion was stiff! And here's a comment from the judges' mouth:
"Stephen's 'No Chance' is a great tightrope walk between Pop, Dance, Alternative, Jazz and even World. A high level songwriter."

Recognized finalist in Plowshares Songwriter Contest 2005
Stephen was a recognized finalist in Plowshares annual song competition. Organized by Philly-based Songwriter Erik Balkey in conjunction with Plowshares Coffehouse founders Lucy and Mark Bonnington, this competition drew over 120 entries last year and excellent artists such as Kate McDonnell and Cliff Eberhardt were on the judging panel.Semi finalist at the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest 2005
Stephen attended the mountain Stage Newsong Festival in Shephardstown WV. This Fest is a must for songwriters/performers as well as listeners. A friendly atmosphere where sharing and growing and networking happen in very pleasant fashion. Among the programmed performances and workshops, they have a day-long contest where lots of artists compete and lots of listeners check them out!
